The core mandate of Best Purchase is split into two mutually reinforcing tracks: Digital Empowerment and Environmental Stewardship.

2.1 Supply Premium Digital Infrastructure

  • To bridge the digital gap by sourcing, distributing, and providing high-quality IT infrastructure tailored to educational institutions, micro-enterprises, smallholder farming setups, and households in deprived and marginalized communities across Ghana.
  • The product portfolio shall include premium laptops, desktop computers, networking hardware, tablets, power-backup peripherals (UPS/solar adaptors), and standard computer accessories.
  • Flexible, subsidized, or structurally innovative pricing and financing models will be utilized to facilitate access for disadvantaged communities.

2.2 Capacity Building and Community Inclusion

  • To specifically target and service deprived, underserved, and rural communities across Ghana to bridge the digital divide.
  • To provide basic digital literacy and maintenance training to beneficiary communities to prolong the lifespan of the equipment and mitigate premature electronic waste generation.

2.3 Electronic Waste (E-Waste) Mitigation & Circular Economic Operations

  • To combat the accumulation of dangerous toxic electronics in communities by providing formal e-waste buy-back, collection, and safe extraction programs.
  • Implementing formal ‘Take-Back’ protocols allowing consumers to return end-of-life accessories and systems in exchange for credit towards premium upgrades.
  • Partnering with accredited recycling agencies in Ghana to guarantee zero landfill dumping of hazardous materials (such as lead, mercury, and cadmium) and adhering strictly to green extraction methodologies.
